past - the green woman -

WIldness. Natural magic. Expectant gratitude. Untrammeled creativity.

The Green Woman speaks to us of caring for our growing ground and of the physical satisfaction of being our natural selves and practicing our own innate magic. This is a time for enhancing the growth of our talents and abilities, a time of blossoming that will bear fruit. It may also be a time of growing maturity and self-confidence. Experience trusting yourself and trusting the process of growth. She also reminds us of material reward ahead, the harvest of the seeds we have planted and nurtured. She counsels boldness and perseverance in the face of adversity, yet she also reminds us that sometimes the only action we can take is to wait patiently and keep growing.

present - unity

Union. Mystical experience. Spiritual home.

When this card comes up in a reading, it is asking us to remember the mystical concept that we are all One, unified in a holistic universe. It reminds us to look at the needs and goals we have in common with others, and to seek cooperation and community action rather than attempting to do everything on our own. To achieve our goals, we need the active cooperation of others, and to get that cooperation, we must be helpful to them and willing to work with their ideas as well as our own. It suggests that we think of things in terms of equal partnerships rather than in lines of hierarchical authority. Unity also tells us that we have much to gain by remembering our own wholeness. Resolution of inner conflict is often necessary before we move ahead. It is important at this time that we work toward cooperation and reconciliation, within and without. Seek the highest good of all involved--and not merely your idea of highest good. Ask for the divine energy of Unity to permeate and guide you.

future - a collective of pixies

Duty. Willingness. Joyful participation. Virtue.

What is needed here is not only an awareness of duty but a merry approach to it. This job has to be done, so one might as well do it willingly. Progress through this dance-maze step by step--lithely and lightly. Take joy and pride in achievement. Approach the work with zeal, zest, and zing--and perhaps even a little zaniness as well. Otherwise, you might as well not bother--well, almost. There is something about this lighthearted approach to your duty that is important at this time in order to achieve the results you want. Additionally, consider the words "collective" and "cooperative" as you make your plans. This situation may take more than one person, perhaps several working together to achieve the desired results. Joining forces with others is appropriate at this time. Seek the cooperation of friends, family, co-workers, and faeries, as appropriate.

why am i alone?

losgunna

Sunken treasure. Discovery of self. Adventure.

Losgunna tells us to pay attention to our dreams, to listen to the murmur of the waters, to note the patterns in the damp, fallen leaves, to listen for the distant, high sounds of angelic music among the stars. She also suggests soothing baths, hot tubs, jacuzzis, trips to the nearest spa or hot springs, and dips in the handiest sea, lake, or mountain lake. Mud baths also help us quiet down and become strong enough to explore her territory, which is the earth and the waters, from the depths to the heights. As important as it is to explore the inner realms, she tells us that exploration of the outer realms is also vital. She suggests that we go places we have never been, try things we have never done, take classes in subjects we always meant to study someday--maybe even learn a language and see where that takes us. Explore widely and deeply in our own world so that we develop the adventurousness of our spirits. It almost goes without saying that she recommends exploring Faery. She also suggest kissing any metaphorical or actual frogs you encounter to test for princes or princesses--but I don't know how seriously you want to take that suggestion.
